Simply the Best - The Tina Turner Story

Valerie was part of the show's ensemble, a journey through five decades of music history of the rock icon and Tina Turner's greatest hits. With a lot of passion and a great deal of humor she embodied one of the three strong-voiced and dance-happy background singers of The Ikettes. In 2020, the show was named Best Musical Tribute Show at the Reel Awards in Las Vegas.

Ain't Misbehavin

The musical is a tribute to the black musicians of the 1920s and 1930s who were part of the Harlem Renaissance, an era of growing creativity, cultural awareness, and ethnic pride, and takes its title from the 1929 Waller song Ain't Misbehavin.

Beehive

The successful musical is a powerful celebration to the powerful female voices of the 1960s. The story is told from the perspective of six women who sing their way through the most iconic songs of this most extraordinary decade.

Jesus Christ Superstar

The worldwide successful musical from the 1970s dramatizes the last seven days in the life of Jesus Christ. The rock opera premiered in New York City in 1971. The music was written by Andrew Lloyd Webber, who was still unknown at the time, and Tim Rice wrote the lyrics.

Rocky Carmen

Rocky Carmen's European tour, an adaptation of Bizets' Carmen, brought Valerie to Germany for the first time.

Valerie has participated in numerous stage, theater and musical productions, from street theater at the very beginning of her career, to musicals such as HAIR, Sister Act, Blues In The Night and Dancing in the Streets, to musical galas with international musical stars, e.g. Musicals hautnah. She also worked as a singer in shows of the Harlem Gospel Singers as well as The Magic Platters, in glamorous evening shows on cruise ships of the Carnival Cruises or in nationally known Christmas shows such as Christmas Moments.
